Refund & Cancellation Policy

This document defines the clear terms governing subscription payments, digital service delivery, cancellation, and refund eligibility for purchases made on Mangal Setu.

1 Nature of Digital Subscription

Mangal Setu offers digital matchmaking membership access passes. For male members, our fee is ₹99 for a 30-Day Access Pass (inclusive of all taxes). For female members, access is 100% lifetime free.

Immediate Digital Fulfillment (Instant Activation)
Upon successful payment verification via Razorpay, your 30-Day Access Pass is instantly activated in real-time (0 minutes). Premium features—including sending unlimited interest requests, text chat with mutual connects, viewing verified guardian phone numbers, and displaying your verified badge—are unlocked immediately.

2 Non-Refundable Policy & Platform Growth Disclaimer

Because access to digital communication tools and community profiles is granted and consumed immediately upon payment, all subscription fees are strictly non-refundable, subject only to the specific technical exception outlined in Section 3.

EXPLICIT LEGAL CLAUSE: Grounds on Which Refunds Shall NOT Be Granted
Members acknowledge and agree that NO refund, chargeback, or compensation shall be entertained or issued under any of the following circumstances:

1. Profile Volume or Gender Ratio: Mangal Setu is an emerging, growing community platform. Registrations are voluntary. No refund will be granted on the grounds that "there are fewer female profiles in my caste/sub-caste," "there are more boys than girls on the app," or "there are no profiles matching my specific astrological or financial criteria in my city."

2. Pre-Purchase Inspection: All members have 100% free visual access to browse the active community directory before purchasing a pass. By proceeding to pay ₹99, you confirm that you have reviewed the existing directory and voluntarily decided to purchase the pass.

3. Response or Acceptance Rate: Matchmaking depends entirely on the mutual consent and personal choice of the parties. We cannot force any member to accept an interest or reply to a message. Lack of replies or rejection of interest is not grounds for a refund.

4. Matrimonial Outcome: The ₹99 fee covers technical software access only. It is not an agency fee for a guaranteed marriage. Inability to find a life partner during the 30-day pass period does not entitle a member to a refund.

5. Change of Mind or Outside Alliance: Deciding not to use the app after purchase, or finding an alliance through other means, does not warrant a refund.
ગુજરાતી સ્પષ્ટતા (સભ્યોની જાણકારી માટે):
પ્રોફાઇલની સંખ્યા કે રિપ્લાયના આધારે રિફંડ મળશે નહીં: ₹99 નો પાસ એ ૩૦ દિવસ માટે એપના ટેકનિકલ ટૂલ્સ વાપરવા માટેની ફી છે. પેમેન્ટ કરતાં પહેલાં જ યુઝર એપમાં જોઈ શકે છે કે અત્યારે કેટલી પ્રોફાઇલ્સ ઉપલબ્ધ છે. કોઈપણ જ્ઞાતિમાં દીકરીઓની પ્રોફાઇલ ઓછી હોવા, કોઈ સભ્ય તરફથી જવાબ ન મળવા કે સંબંધ નક્કી ન થવાના આધારે ₹99 નું રિફંડ મળી શકશે નહીં.

3 Eligible Refund Scenario: Duplicate or Technical Billing Errors

We maintain absolute financial integrity. Refunds are processed exclusively in the following verified scenario:

Double/Multiple Deduction Guarantee
If due to a banking network glitch, server timeout, or duplicate submission, your bank account/UPI is debited twice for a single 30-Day pass renewal, the duplicate amount will be 100% refunded to your original payment source without any cancellation fee.

How to claim duplicate refund:

  • Email mangalsetu.in@gmail.com with your registered email and the Razorpay Payment ID within 48 hours of transaction.
  • Once reconciled against our Razorpay merchant dashboard, the refund is initiated within 24 hours.
  • The refunded amount reflects in your original bank account/UPI within 5 to 7 business days as per standard RBI banking timelines.

4 Cancellation, Pass Expiry & Profile Access Lock

We maintain complete transparency regarding subscription cycles and access expiry:

  • Zero Auto-Debit / Recurring Mandate: We do not charge recurring subscriptions. When you pay ₹99, you are billed once for exactly 30 calendar days. Your card/bank will never be automatically charged again.
  • Pass Expiration & Profile Access Suspension (પાસ સમાપ્તિ અને પ્રોફાઇલ્સ લોક): At the exact end of 30 days, your access pass expires. While your profile, verification status, and login remain preserved in the system, access to view female profiles, search candidate lists, and message connections is automatically locked behind the renewal modal. To view profiles again, a manual renewal of ₹99 for another 30 days is required.
  • No Refund Due to Pass Expiration or Profile Locking: The suspension of profile browsing upon completion of the paid 30-day period is an intended core design of the service. Claims for refunds, disputes, or chargebacks on the basis that profiles have been locked after 30 days shall be rejected immediately.
  • Voluntary Cancellation: You may delete your profile anytime. However, deleting your profile mid-cycle does not entitle you to a pro-rata refund for remaining days.

5 Banking Disputes & Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your issuing bank or UPI application, members are contractually required to contact Mangal Setu customer support at mangalsetu.in@gmail.com or via WhatsApp / Phone at +91 97263 62863. Raising fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks after utilizing platform services constitutes a breach of contract and will result in permanent blacklisting and legal action under the jurisdiction of competent courts in Jasdan / Gujarat, India.
